The most common terms for the carriage of goods are:<br \/>\n<strong>DAP<\/strong>: Delivered at Place &#8211; Delivered at Place is when the seller delivers the goods, with transfer of risk, when they are placed at the buyer&#8217;s disposal in the means of transport prepared for unloading at the agreed destination. The seller bears all risks of transporting the goods to the agreed place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DDP<\/strong>: Delivered Duty Paid &#8211; Delivered Duty Paid is when the seller delivers the goods, with transfer of risk, when they are placed at the buyer&#8217;s disposal for shipment upon import in the arriving means of transport prepared for unloading at the agreed place of destination. The seller bears all risks of transporting the goods to the agreed place and must ship the goods for both import and export, as well as complete all related customs formalities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXW<\/strong>: Factory or Ex Works means that the seller is solely responsible for delivering the goods to its own facilities or to external facilities designated by it. The buyer assumes all risks from departure to destination.
